Robert Cameron - Professional Drummer / Producer / Writer / 90's Hip Hop recording artist
Born in Los Angeles, CA. Robert found his love of music and drums in particular around the age of 5 years old. Roberts father was a professional drummer that played for some of musics biggest legends such as drummer for the great James Brown, The Mommas and the Papas and Mae West to name a few. Robert grew up watching his father and was eager to duplicate what his father would play. Robert was self taught simply by watching his father, studying and practicing. By the time Robert was a teenager, he had played in several local bands around the Inland Empire and found himself already playing at a professional level. Robert grew up on funk, soul and urban music so it was no surprise that in the late 80's break dancing and what would soon be known as hip hop music would completely ingulf him. This propelled him into being not only one of the biggest hip hop fans, but ultimately would launch his career as a bonafide hip hop recording artist. Blessing the stage with many of your favorite 90's hip hop groups not only as a drummer but as an MC. As well going on to record 8 solo albums over a 15 year period. Robert retired from the music industry at the age of 28 so that he could raise his new born daughter as a single father. He always new that his love of music was forever and that he would always dabble in music and return on some level. As of now he is enjoying being back behind his drum kit where it all began.
